Lions & Rabbits is an art gallery and community retail space located in the Creston Hill neighborhood of Grand Rapids, MI. Formerly a St. Vincent DePaul's thrift store, the space now serves as a place where people can learn, create, and gather.

What's in a name?

Lions & Rabbits signifies the strength, gentleness, and beauty found throughout the animal kingdom -- the brilliant power of diversity. It's our hope that the space will become a hub for different types of art and artists, and allow the community to come together to celebrate and support one another.

So what is it?

We are a versatile space aimed at showcasing visual and performing artists while providing the community with opportunities for creative engagement. Lions & Rabbits serves as the primary studio space for artist/owner Hannah Berry, graphic designer, Kenny Smith, and florist, Nathan Veeneman. Our licensed yoga teachers, Adam Hutchens, Jennifer Stewart-Dodgson, and Karolina DeLange continue to cultivate weekly wellness in the space. We seasonally hire local artists to teach their trade to the community. Lions & Rabbits is in the process of becoming a rentable event space. Have an idea for a pop-up or work shop? Contact us- we love this community!
