Our Colorful Pathways Model
Colorful Pathways is a comprehensive creative placemaking program designed to leverage the power of “pathway” level placemaking to address the interconnected challenges of public, environmental, and economic health in communities nationwide.
We do this by guiding communities through the “pathway” of building local capacity for creative placemaking activities.
PHASE 1
POSITION
In this initial phase, we work closely with community stakeholders to uncover local assets, challenges, and aspirations, culminating in a tailored Placemaking Action Plan.
PHASE 2
MOBILIZE
During this phase, we deliver and implement the action plan, leading initial projects while gradually transferring skills and responsibilities to local leaders and creative workers.
